I'm registered, what's next?

Birth Certificates: All NEW youth recreational players must upload a birth certificate at the time of registration. Use the AGE VERIFICATION link on the registration page. It functions like a second registration form. Without age verification, registration is incomplete and your player WILL NOT be placed on a team.

Team assignments: Teams are formed during the 2 weeks after registration ends. Players will be assigned to teams based on our team formation policy. Youth buddy requests are not guaranteed. Coaches will notify players of team assignments AFTER they receive their rosters in early August (fall) or early February (spring), so expect to hear from your coach within two weeks following that time.

All registration fees are due upon registration and must be paid before players will be placed on a team.

Coaches: If you plan to coach or assist for fall and/or spring, please register beginning June 1. All coach registrations expire on May 31st of each year, so ALL coaches must register ONCE annually. Registration includes mandatory SafeSport and background check. Coach registrations can be completed here.

Cancellations: Please refer to the refund policy on the GSSA Policies page on our website. Please be sure to review all GSSA Policies posted on our website.

Start Dates: All age groups U4-U14 will typically begin games the last weekend in August (fall) and last weekend in February (spring). Practices start mid-month before that. U15-U19 and the Adult league will begin games in September and March. Check GSSA Important Dates for changes/updates.
