Field Status will be posted at http://www.gssasoccer.org

Decisions regarding game field Status will be made:

by 4pm on weekdays
by 7 am on Saturdays
by 10 am on Sundays

Lightning Detection

Weather Cancelation Policy

The GSSA Field Commissioners will make the decision as to field status on Saturdays and Sundays. Storm conditions, lightning, and extreme temperature typically factor into the decisions. Please check the website prior to your game.

Please text "bluesombrero", must be all lowercase, to 84483 to allow us to send you text messages for alerts to field closures and other last minute changes to game and practice conditions. You will need to have your cell phone listed in your "My Account" section to receive these messages.

DON'T assume that your game is cancelled until you receive official notification!

Pet Policy

The GSSA board has adopted the following policy on dogs (including other leashed animals) for insuring a safe, non-distracting and sanitary environment for the participants, support volunteers and spectators:

No dogs are not permitted on the playing fields and players areas at any time.

Dogs or other pets required to be on a leash by the city of Grapevine or Southlake are not allowed at the U4-6 sidelines, goal lines, or bleacher area during game or warm-up.

Dogs are permitted at U7 and older divisions, but must be kept 10 yards or more from other seated spectators, bleachers and sidelines.

911 Information

911 - Monday, March 26, 2012

Due to cell towers and our close proximity to other cities, you may or may not get Grapevine 911 when playing at Grapevine Fields.

Should you use your mobile phone to dial for 911 services and receive another 911 say transfer me to Grapevine 911. DO NOT hang up and keep calling, the 911 personnel will transfer you accordingly.
